I ADORE this man.
Not only is he extremely handsome, insanely musically inclined, a Harry Potter geek, and modest to the core, but the way he TALKS. He's so animated, sincere, and
charming, it's enthralling. The combination of his smooth voice, choice of vocabulary, and the whimsical, childish ideas that flow out of his mind, it's just stunning and makes me so happy. Did I mention that he's a graduate of the University of Michigan? Education, say whaaat?

I actually had to dictionary the word "hearkens". And just listening by ear, I thought it was "herken". Daayyumm, Stefanie Chan, you have to step it up a notch if you want to compare to future husband, above (and below).
And not hating on Harry Shum Jr. (I love him), but he sounded a little less than intelligent when he spoke after Darren did his spiel.
"But it's the dead of winter in LA and it's really hot. So I'm like, 'NO! I'm going to sit in the shade over yonder', where we are now, with my haphazardly... put together... meal of… kings."
"Haphazardly". I have never experienced that word used outside of written literature. It's like one of those words that you find using Microsoft Word's thesaurus function in order to replace that over-used, common word in your essay.
And yet here's Darren, tossing it out lackadaisically in his conversation with the interviewer.
NTS: Begin integrating the word "haphazard" into daily vocabulary.
And those shades he's wearing? Yeah, they're hot pink.
