Out to the Kong

I can't wait to go. The thought has pretty much consumed me and I've made up my mind. I'm all set and ready to board that plane and get out. To Hong Kong.

I don't care that I'll be surrounded by millions of Chinese for 3 and a half months, that it will be unbearably hot and humid, that my lungs will clog from all that pollution, that it's going to be so awkward trying to speak to people in my broken Cantonese, that I could make a lot more money staying in Canada... I just need this change.

My sister's like, "Steff, you sound like you're going through a mid-life crisis."
Maybe I am... at 18 years of age.

Clearly I was souped up excited to be there. Clearly.

Honestly, I would probably crawl into a ball and cry my eyes out if I find out that I don't get to go.

BU121 Midterm

Internet, you are my worst enemy whilst trying to study for my business midterm which, may I mention, is in 32 hours. I'm freaking out.

That's my freaked out face... kinda.

Tonight, I've decided to ditch my usual study space on the 3rd floor of the SBE building and I have acquired an empty classroom aaaalllll to myself, aaaaallllll night.

What if a ghost just suddenly appeared? I'd probably cry.

Oh yes, cold coffee can also go on my "worst enemies" list. Yucky.

Locking is fun and I still can't pop

It's amazing how much more you appreciate something once you've experienced it first hand.

I love how those lockers are so fast that the camera can't even properly capture their hand movements! INSSAAAANNNEEEEEEE!!

Morning Texts

You know what the best feeling in the world is? Knowing that someone cares enough about you to take time out of their busy schedule to send you a simple text wishing you a good morning and hoping that you have good day. I have a friend who does exactly that and I can't even begin to describe how happy those texts make me feel. Because he starts his day extremely early (and I of course start mine relatively late), the first thing I see when I wake up is his text. Nothing better to wake up to than that.

It's just those little gestures in life that make all the difference.

Quiet times for thought

I wish I had the time to write thoughtful, interesting blog posts for my future self and people who may stumble into my blog to read.

Unfortunately, school is currently being a bitch and allowing me barely anytime to just sit and think. I miss highschool and it's average of 1 hour daily homework requirements.

and yet, I'm able to find time to discover this AMAZING acoustic version from The Script. <3
There's always time for youtube.
