Tangled

I just watched Disney's new movie, Tangled today and let me say ... it was amazing.


Rapunzel isn't your ordinary "i'm so helpless, I need a prince to save me" kind of princess. She is kick ass, hilarious, and full of life (though I do wish her weapon of choice wasn't a cast-iron frying pan).
The "prince", Flynn, is the usual charming, dashing, and eager to save his princess kind of guy. He's also a con-man. Score 1 for the "bad guys".

Let's not forget the return of musical numbers and the traditional Disney-eqse score. Composer Alan Menken, as we all know, is a genius.

Just... go watch it.
